Ledger Accounts, Additional Groups and Descriptions

The Group information at this Tab is used for collating and reporting purposes. The Other Descriptions field is used to record alternate descriptions for the part number. A switch is set in the system initialisation file to allow the users access to a search window to select a different description for the part number when processing sales orders.

Steps

1.	Other tab
	Product Groups - select from search window. Inventory items can be in multiple groups
	Description - different description(s) for the inventory item. Type in details as required. Multiple lines can be entered, however only one can be selected on a sales order
2.	Inventory Ledger Accounts
	Ledgers - for more detail see Inventory Classifications. The details can be changed for an individual part number by selecting from the search window. Ledger account details should have been set up in the Inventory Classification record, and these will be displayed and refreshed as the Classification code in the Main tab is changed
